Would you like to discover the customs and everyday lives of the Romans? The Magna Celebratio Festival in Badalona invites you to live and eat as the Romans did!
For a few days, Badalona is once again the Roman city of Baetulo and invites you to experience how the Romans lived 2,000 years ago. Try some mituli (mussels in sauce) and boletos (wild mushrooms), or work as a ferrarius (blacksmith), as a vitrarium (glassmaker), as a figulus (potter) or as an ornatrix (hairdresser). Participate in workshops and learn how to make piscator (fishing nets), cistarius (wickerwork), or learn how to count with an abacus. Becoming a Roman for a day is not as difficult as you might think!
